Many of you probably don’t know who Brenda Clydsedale-Heller is, but if you were asked about the lunch lady, you probably would know who to point to immediately. We would like to give thanks to Brenda, our beloved lunch lady! Brenda has been working at San Juan for 2 months and attended San Juan High School in 1982 and was on our cross country team. Her birthday is January 17th and loves all things art, pink, and sweets.
What are some ways we can show our appreciation?
She told us that most of the kids have been wonderful, but it would be nice to have kids be less crazy in line.
What makes you look forward to coming to work?
“The kids! And making connections with the people I work with, but mostly the kids,” she told us enthusiastically. “I don’t bite!” Brenda wants people to know she is very easy to talk to and loves to do art. So the next time you are getting lunch, make sure you show YOUR appreciation with a “Hello!” and strike up a conversation!
