As November started, so did the time to celebrate and honor the cultures, traditions, and contributions that the Native Americans have shared with our society. Native American Heritage month, which expands throughout all of the month of November, is a time for reflection, education, and appreciation of the indigenous peoples who have been in North America for thousands of years. This allows for people to think about a walkthrough of all the achievements, as well as challenges faced by the Native American communities. It is a time that we can recognize the resilience and enduring spirit of these nations, and to foster a deeper understanding and respect for their unique heritage. Events will take place all over the country celebrating and promoting awareness as well as showcasing the vital role of Native Americans in shaping the nation’s present, past, and future.
